Introduction to Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific is a world-class airline based in Hong Kong. It was founded in 1946 and, today, strives to put safety first, provide excellent service and support the environment. The airline operates flights to over 190 destinations around the world and has over 20,000 employees. The majority of flights are to locations in Asia, including India, Japan and Singapore, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Other destinations include South Africa, the Netherlands, and several cities throughout North America and the Middle East. With a fleet of over 140 of the industry's newest aircraft, the airline is continually updating to more modern and fuel-efficient aeroplanes.

Check-in & Baggage
The airline offers several ways to check-in including online, in-town locations (around Hong Kong), their app and in the airport. Many airports also have self-service check-in kiosks and bag drops. Business and First Class passengers have their own dedicated check-in desks for quicker service.
