Condor Flugdienst was founded in 1961 and quickly became a top choice for leisure travel to sun and beach destinations. Towards the end of that decade, the German airline began to fly long haul with a selection of flights to the Caribbean and South East Asia. Condor then went through a major period of expansion in the 1990s and 2000s, when it signed multiple codeshare and interline agreements with nearly 20 airlines.

Baggage allowance:

• Condor's checked baggage allowance varies depending on the origin and destination zone, but generally speaking, Economy passengers can check one piece of baggage up to 20 kg / 44 lb for free, whereas the allowance for Premium Class passengers is 25 kg / 55 lb. Business Class ticket holders can check up to 2 bags of 32 kg / 70 lb each, subject to zone restrictions. • The hand baggage allowance varies depending on ticket class.
